i attempted to get info on a motorcycle vin and after minutes of pointless animations of "downloading" supposedly found data, i was presented with a transaction page for a single report at $1. i provided my credit card, and proceeded to log into the system only to be told that the VIN number is invalid. the vin number is valid as i just got a theft report on it with no problems. i contacted chat for support and ralph confirmed that the vin number was valid but they had no info on it. he then asked me if i would like to close the account and refund the 19.95$ a month access i supposedly signed up for. i told him i did no such thing but to proceed with the account closure. i'll be monitoring my credit card to confirm that the refund went through but wow, what a dirty deceitful way to make a business by this company.
